The built industry lacks tangible eco-friendly materials to replace existing high emissions products. Retrofitting existing buildings with more eco-friendly products can be challenging because of the constraints of the building, particularly when it comes to installing solar panels on roofs. In addition, measuring and reporting on the environmental impact of retrofitted upgrades is difficult because of the lack of trackable and available data. Finally, solutions to produce green energy can be costly and hard to maintain and/or manage. We aim to address all these challenges with our unique smart canopy / roofing system, which brings trackable sustainability increase, clean energy generation and water collection for greener, smarter buildings with measurable impact.
Designed, installed and managed by an expert team, the solution is comprised of ultra-light solar panels which clip onto recycled plastic tiles and is controlled by an AI powered EMS system. The tiles also allow for collection of clean rainwater and provide better insulation than traditional tiles. It can be retrofitted on roof traditionally unsuitable for solar panel due to its versatility and light weight or erected on a stand-alone structure as a canopy.
